Major: Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior (NPB)
As an NPB major with aspirations in medicine, I am particularly interested in examining AI ethics through the lens of healthcare applications. The medical field increasingly relies on AI for diagnostics, treatment planning, and patient care, all contexts where algorithmic decisions directly impact human lives. Participating in the AI Ethics Lab allows me to help ensure AI systems demonstrate the ethical reasoning necessary for high-stakes medical environments before they are integrated into life-or-death healthcare decisions.
