Bio

I am a doctoral candidate in the Department of Philosophy at UC Davis specializing in philosophy of physics, metaphysics, and philosophy of mind. My dissertation explores metaphysical and epistemological issues concerning Everettian quantum mechanics, particularly those involving persistence, identity, knowledge, probability, and laws of nature. Since 2023, I founded and continue to organize the Davis Foundations of Physics Working Group. I’m also interested in AI safety and alignment research, particularly in developing frameworks for the normative evaluation of AI models and assessing the epistemic and safety risks associated with automating conceptual reasoning.
